Food for Health International’s customers love good, healthy food. A few have asked about GMO’s. You may have seen that acronym online or heard about it in the news. GMO stands for “genetically modified organisms.” For example, plants and animals that have had their genetic makeup altered with engineering are often labeled “GMO” products. In 2010 the Non-GMO Project was created to raise awareness about genetically modified products and what it means for our health and families.
October is “Non-GMO” Month. Food for Health International and its team members are pleased to share awareness and this opportunity to learn more about the foods we eat. If you are interested in learning more or finding out more please visit Non-GMO Project Verified foods for the month of October.
Food for Health International wishes you a healthy, happy October!
